MORE ABOUT THE OWNERS Funderland Amusements and Funland Amusements will be combining under one umbrella utilizing the name MAGIC WORLD Amusement Park. Funland Amusements was founded in 1975 by the Pretorius Family is owned and operated by Louw and Pieter Pretorius and their team and is still trading today. Funderland Amusements was founded in 1977 by Anna du Plessis and is operated by Charles Turner and Anna du Plessis and is still trading today.

This has been, and will continue to be, our mission. Within the mission there is also a commitment to serve our Team Members (employees) and the community at large. Today we have a name for this 30 year long commitment: Magic World Amusement Park Cares! We are dedicated to providing our guests with world-class thrills, fun and family entertainment. We are guided by the principles of safety, service, courtesy, cleanliness and integrity.The owners have the experience and expertise to plan and operate a funfair you will never forget.
The amusement park equipment will be transported to the grounds, set up, operated and controlled by permanent trained staff under the fulltime supervision and guidance of the owners. Magic World Amusement Park owns its own fleet of trucks and trailers. The owners and our fully trained drivers transport all rides to the designated sites Magic World has its own sound system that operates independently for the funfair. REPUTATION Although no event is too big or small, and with a reputation second to none, our funfair rides regularly attend the most famous and prestigious fairs including Pretoria Show, Bloemfontein Show and Rustenburg Show. Our Ride Admission policy has been developed with the help of a biodynamic engineer and recommendations of the ride manufacturers. Our policy is based upon our past experience and our knowledge of each ride in both normal and emergency operating conditions. Our prime consideration is your ability to endure the dynamics of a ride without risk of injury to yourself, other riders, or team members. Every ride is evaluated for specific rider requirements. All funfair equipment is fully insured and operated by extremely competent and friendly staff. We will meet all requirements as laid down by the rules and regulations stipulated by the Department of Labour. All relevant documentation will be supplied to the factory inspectors of both the mechanical and electrical sections three days before the start of the funfair.
